okay so someone was whining that nobody got to say goodbye or something so here's your post to be all sentimental and talk about your favorite moments and your favorite people and what this community meant to you or something.

i want to take this opportunity to thank QUEENPASIPHAE for taking over for nearly 2 years; that was really above-and-beyond the call of duty or w/e that trite phrase is. i want to thank LIBERTINETTE for being the first person i know to slash the members of franz and for coming up with this idea in the first place. i want to thank the slashers in the beginning - i can't write fic worth a damn so without you this wouldn't have been a slash fic comm! i want to thank that random quasi-troll who drew those great "on my own" comics and then fell off the face of the earth. i want to thank any other poster or commenter who made me lol in the however-many years i gallivanted around here. i want to thank all the kewl pplz i met and became lj friends with as a result of or in spite of this place, and one in particular who won't ever read this.

finally, i want to thank franz ferdinand for being really fucking homoerotic, for making some damn catchy tunes, for "michael", for randomly pimping us out to fans ("seriously you'd love it!"), for the karelia and raspberry nipples, for box codax and fat ass butt pussies, for slackening their ties for us, and for tolerating us when we pretended that they were boning each other. they've been great sports.
